Chinese Medicine takes a holistic approach, focusing on the whole person. Following a thorough initial consultation, each treatment is tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
Acupuncture is a gentle treatment using sterile, single-use, hair-thin needles. Where appropriate, treatment may also include complementary techniques such as Tui Na, Cupping, Gua Sha and Moxibustion.
These techniques may be used individually or in combination to support your overall health, balance and wellbeing.
Chinese Medicine has a long history of supporting women’s health and wellbeing, including fertility and reproductive health.
Acupuncture can be used as a complementary therapy throughout the fertility journey, with treatment tailored to your individual needs. Treatment may focus on supporting menstrual cycle regulation, circulation, relaxation and overall wellbeing, while providing a supportive space during what can be an emotionally and physically demanding time.
My interest in fertility and women’s health began with my BSc dissertation on fertility and acupuncture, followed by further specialist training in fertility and assisted reproductive therapy.
I support women at different stages of their journey, including natural conception, alongside assisted reproductive treatment, pregnancy, postpartum care and menopause. Acupuncture may also be used to support a range of reproductive and hormonal concerns, including menstrual irregularities, endometriosis, PMOS (previously called PCOS) and fibroids.
I am a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN) and remain committed to continuing my education in fertility, women’s health and reproductive wellbeing.
